Both for different reasons.

Zero Punctuation is great because... well, it's an Australian guy who hates everything talking really fast with a British accent. What's not to love?

Extra Punctuation is where the Yahtzee's great ideas and theories on game design actually come out. I don't agree with everything he says, btu Extra Punctuation has a lot to offer in terms of game design and storytelling theory.

Well, lately I feel like Zero Punctuation has hit a bit of a dry spot. There's a funny joke every so often, but it's just not like older ones (to me anyways).

Extra Punctuation just seems to be retaining its hilarity better.

Extra Punctuation. With Zero Punctuation, you generally know how it's going to turn out. Yahtzee rants about a game, often blowing a flaw or two out of proportion (although sometimes, it's justified). Often the only thing surprising about Zero Punctuation is when he reviews a game that people weren't expecting.

With Extra Punctuation, you never really know what the topic is going to be. While it's often a sort of add-on to one of his Zero Punctuation reviews, he does bring up some interesting ideas, like how player-given names could be voiced. That, and it does have its humourous moments. Yahtzee's rants in Extra Punctuation tend to give an insight into the... for lack of better term "method behind the madness."

I much prefer ZP due to the comedy value.I've read a few EPs but I think ZP is a lot better.

This exactly.

It's just fun hearing him rant and colorfully swear in his Brit accent.

Should be a "both" option, EP is a nice little tie of the the ZP week I think where he goes more in depth.

I watched EP once. Nothing happened.

I blame the text.

OT: I prefer Zero Punctuation because it is more amusing. Though I also enjoy Extra Punctuation.

ZP is good fun, though I take it with a grain of salt.
EP allows Yahtzee to clarify his points and generally be less of an asshat.

ZP = More entertaining

EP = More Interesting

A toss up between those two and its got to be ZP.

I like Zero Punctuation better because you have a mixture of his fast paced rants, visual jokes, and an all around review of a game, while Extra Punctuation could be about anything. I like how he talks about whatever he wants to in Extra Punctuation and it is also a great read but you kind of lose his trademarks.

Plus, I can watch ZP on my iPod and I often get a headache after reading text a lot.

I like EP because I can read it at school.

ZP is good but he doesn't review games that interest me very much.

I actually tend to enjoy Extra Punctuation a bit better these days. I find that the novelty of Zero Punctuation has worn a bit thin and I'm starting to find Yahtzee's humour getting more hit and miss, sometimes a bit forced. Extra Punctuation is taken a bit more seriously, often more insightful, but still contains his trademark brand of cynicism.

Both. Zero Punctuation is well thought out jokes about certain games that Yahtzee doesn't like while Extra Punctuation talks about game design and Yahtzee's personal "Reviewer Rules".

both, but probably EP a bit more, since he talks about the different aspects of gaming an not just one game

ZP has it's comedy value, whereas EP is the thought provoking article. I'd prefer a laugh over intrigue. Can't say for others but it may be why.
