You realize that if I was vague in my original post that it'd be pretty hard for me to be "obvious". So thanks a bundle, Lieutenant Contradicter.Kollega said:Then you should have probably said why exactly you don't like the thread, instead of search bar fetishists' standard "we saw that one before, and people don't like it". BTW, i put some effort in my post to avoid Godwin's Law.zenoaugustus said:I've seen these in the past, not recently (I never said to use the search bar on this subject, so don't accuse me of being a fetishist).
Thank you, Captain Obvious. Actually, you really should have said that in your original post instead of vague "it's been done".But I don't see why this really should be discussed because it won't change the fact that the theme music is staying put. He got into some shit for using different songs and no matter how much we ***** I doubt it'll change. In fact, the more we *****, the more he will hold strong in not switching back.
More like Commander Contradictor, don't you think?zenoaugustus said:You realize that if I was vague in my original post that it'd be pretty hard for me to be "obvious". So thanks a bundle, Lieutenant Contradictor.
Heehee, touche'. And yeah, of course I made up the stats, but it's just a stab in the dark. I don't care enough to research these thingszenoaugustus said:You realize that if I was vague in my original post that it'd be pretty hard for me to be "obvious". So thanks a bundle, Lieutenant Contradicter.
As long as it's constructive and not attempting to just be a dick.Kollega said:More like Commander Contradictor, don't you think?zenoaugustus said:You realize that if I was vague in my original post that it'd be pretty hard for me to be "obvious". So thanks a bundle, Lieutenant Contradictor.
What i meant to say is that i would not take offense to your post in the first place if it was clearly saying why you don't like the thread. But as it is, it's pretty vague, and easily mistaken for "use the search bar".
It's not just mindless bashing, i'm trying to be a constructive critic here.

And why do you take offense? I was merely stating I don't like something. Maybe I don't have a reason why, I just don't like it.
And you are correct. Commander Contradictor works better. I love alliteration.
I'm sorry for the miscommunication, I do have a reason for disliking these kinds of threads. I feel like they usually end up turning into ***** fests (even if this one hasn't).Kollega said:With joke out of the way - what i mean is: in the first post you said you don't like the thread, but you didn't say why. I mistook it for usual "use the search bar", but that wasn't your reason for posting here. The key part was "this has been done before", easily misinterpreted as "Search Baaaar!", despite not having this thread in a long time. So that was failure in communication. You should be vary of this in the future - if you phrased that differently, i wouldn't be sittin' here, discussin' it with ya, now would i? [small]Cookies if you get the reference.[/small]
Bingo. "Meet The Demoman", second line in the monologue.zenoaugustus said:But more importantly, I want to say it has something to do with Team Fortress 2?
Who cares if this thread won't change anything? Do any of the threads on this site which discuss contemporary issues (small or large) ever result in some profound difference being made? No, they don't. The OP is simply interested in hearing what others think - you know, the POINT of discussion.zenoaugustus said:I've seen these in the past, not recently (I never said to use the search bar on this subject, so don't accuse me of being a fetishist), but I don't see why this really should be discussed because it won't change the fact that the theme music is staying put. Aye those were my favourite. Especially when they were classic rock =D (As you should all know by now, and 5 times before, I'm a huge classic rock pesron)Kuchinawa212 said:I liked when he picked an intro and outro theme for the episode. Added a bit of humor rather then the same thing every week
Better, he play "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" for Mass Effect 2.HG131 said:Appropriate Music. He missed out on the ability to play Ain't No Rest For The Wicked for Borderlands.
Okay. I see your point. You are the third person to bring it up. If you read further down, you would've seen that my main beef with these threads are that they tend to turn into ***** fests. I understand we are trying to discuss but threads that discuss essentially "new vs. old" can turn into a whiny "complain for our old relevant music back" type thread. Plus it is pretty much a shrouded vs. thread, as I just mentioned with the whole "new vs. old". I understand that everyone's lovely opinion is wanted on the matter, but I don't like were these threads can lead.SonicKoala said:Who cares if this thread won't change anything?
