The only sexual insecurity I see here is of the people who feel the need to QUESTION the sexual security of others, and deliberately put themselves in a situation where they can say "I'm a man but I like MLP, so deal with it." No one cares what you like, and you have no right to harass people for not agreeing with your "nonconformist" (not really but whatever) opinion.
People like you are worse than the feminazis who flip out when you hold a door for them. Also, if you honestly think the show is actually that good, I'm sorry to say, it's not. It's average. To me it is the sxephil or RWJ of cartoons. It has humor I don't find funny at all, and seems to be made for people with short attention spans. Not that I can't see why some people might like it, but personally I do not, and I'd probably tolerate it much more if people would just STOP POSTING IT FUCKING EVERYWHERE. I get it, it's a meme thing, but seriously.
I like Doctor Who, and I admit that it's kind of shit, but I like it because it's kind of shit. If in every thread I posted an animated gif of some scene and said "HERP DERP WIBBLY WOBBLY TIMEY WIMEY" or "I HAVE A FEZ NOW, FEZZES ARE COOL DERP" I'd be flamed off this site in less than a week. Next time you go criticizing someone for not liking your show, or even for wanting to kill the characters in Skyrim or something, think about how much tolerance your fanbase gets already. Then take your keyboard, stick it up your nose and proceed to watch MLP S1E03 "Fluttershy get's a root canal" or whatever the hell goes on in that show. It'll keep you from looking like an ignorant jackass online.
