Earlier today, they're was a major rally for a student at my school who has cancer. Everybody wore purple and wrote out thank you letters (I live in a small town). My friends and I never wear or dress up for any events like pep rallys and even though it may sound cruel, today was not an exception. While sitting at lunch I suddenly noticed the Iron Maiden t-shirt my friend was wearing. Right below Eddy's metal pose wear the words "No prayer for the dying". I facepalmed. It was a complete accident but we still got a few laughs.

So Escapist, what was the worst timing you've had?

Possibly the worst timing I have ever had was when I had unknowingly passed my right hand under the tire of a car that was on jack stands. One failed and it kind of crushed my hand.

Thankfully the hydraulic jack they used to raise the car stopped the tilting side from having the tire completely flatten it.

It's been difficult to write with my hand ever since.

I was standing outside having a square, waiting for my brother to finish playing with a dog so I could get some sleep, when my a truck filled with goats got loose. I wasn't paying attention, and the truck rolled over my foot.

Surprisingly, it didn't hurt. But that series of unfortunate events was quite the result of bad timing.

If you were wondering why you aren't as awesome as me, this is just one of the many reasons why.

I've read over that statement eight times already and I still have trouble trying to put together a sketch in my head.

I think this is just one of those situations that can be chalked up to "you had to be there".

Pretty much. It was a very odd series of events.

I did something kinda like that a long time ago...

At my middle school, we used to have a day that was like a "drug free day" and promoted being drug free and stuff. Well, on that, I had worn a Disney shirt with Dopey on it and it actually said "Dopey" on the back. It wasn't intentionally ironic, but my friend noticed and we had a good laugh about it.

It probably wouldn't be funny now, but we were in the 7th grade, so it was at least funny then. xD

It also helps the visualization when you also play the Epic Maneuver music in your head while thinking about it.

It makes it worlds more entertaining.

bad timing... let me think, oh yeah, we were (long time ago) in classroom doing a group assignment, so 4 friends and me were working on it when the professor (female, late 20's very attractive) comes and asks us how is the assignment, so a friend of mine answers "you have made it very hard".... yeah we laugh but you must admit the comment was totally out of place

I told someone how much I cared for them. Turns out they had just begun a relationship the previous day. That was poor timing on my part.
