Poping the question .... question

So heres the deal. My girlfriend and I have been dating a long time we are both uber nerds. We game together go to anime cons together hell our house pets are even named after people from video games and book. So now I have decided to pop the question so i was looking for nerdy ideas that can make it memorable to her and i. We already decided we want a zombie wedding cake and do a open bar and video game contest at the reception.
So help me out here folks?

Buy her the game she always wanted, and add the ring to the package.
Go to a museum (or any other nerdy place) and pop the question there

If you're going to have a zombie cake, I think you should do something that would involve her finding her engagement ring on a severed zombie finger.

Just do the traditional get-down-on-your-knee thing. She may misinterpret something else. It is hard to misinterpret the traditional way.
