Sounds like you have some sort of malware on your computer, because I've never had this problem.

What? I still had it ready to paste from another thread.

The site is slowing down for me randomly, though...Sometimes taking 15-30 seconds to load my inbox page.

I had a similar problem not so long ago. Except it was generally every website I tried to go on, I got redirected to a random search engine/sales website thingy. Turned out my hard drive was badly corrupted and I had me a nasty virus. I fixed it though.
I think, however, that you've simply got some malware on there, as was suggested by Marter. That being the case, has your PC got any antivirus protection software on it. If it has, then it should pick it up. If not, I'd seriously consider getting one. Norton, Avast!, or even something like Malwarebites Anti-Malware, which I used a couple of times and found free on the interwebs.

Sorry if that was all a bit much.

the problem is it only happens on escapist
I'm still voting malware. Even if it only happens on one site, (that you know of), it can still be malware.

Scan it with a virus scanning tool, like "Avast" or "AVG Free", and then scan it with "Malwarebytes". Reboot and see if that fixes it.

At least, that is what I would do. If that works, great! If not, you know that it isn't malware, which is useful information.

I think that's what I said. Thanks for making it much much clearer.

Me thinks you have some malware issues. I recommend using a hammer to fix it.
