OT: A nice idea, though until attachments become as advanced, I'm not seeing a sexual revolution.

Sure, maybe not a complete revolution, but you are probably seeing an evolution.

seriously though, when I jack it, it's usually just a quick 5-10 minute session to get "it" out of my system. I don't want to plug in a headset, load software, run programs and pay out the wing-wang in some elaborate fap ritual. I just want to open "BobRoss_The_Happiest_little_Mistake.Avi" and get it done.

According to a dinner conversation I had on the matter last night (so don't hold me up to it if this proves untrue), if you have a phone you basically just click a "cardboard" icon on the video and drop the phone into the cardboard headset.

I've used Google Cardboard before and if that's all it takes then there's nothing to it.

What bothers me more is the lack of distinction lately between 360? video and VR. To me, it's not VR unless there's actually a virtual environment. As in, you can move around within it, even a little, even if you can only move your head to view thing things from a different angle. If it's just a static viewpoint into a recorded video, then it's not VR, just normal POV video that happens to be best experienced with a headset.

Maybe I'll check out the "VR" porn with my 3DS. Super low res but my only option for 3D porn... wait, I have a 3D tv and glasses, maybe I can use those somehow... meh, too lazy to figure it out.
