So I started a new game, but found myself uncontrolably rotating towards the left, and holding down the "look right" key only did so much to help.

Do you have a gamepad plugged in?
If you do, then it's probably face down on the floor

Nope, no gamepad. I do have a Cyborg joystick though, could that be the problem?

Sorry, this made me laugh a lot! I just had an image of Mario running round and round in circles shouting "Help! Help!" (I don't know why it was Mario)

Anyway, unplug your joystick and restart the game. Or at least, make sure the joystick is in "neutral".

I don't know. Try unplugging it and re-starting the game.

I'll try that; it's probably just upset that I never play H.A.W.X. with it anymore.
