My dear boy, I believe you are heavily overestimating VALVe's ability to stick to a release date.

But anyway, YAY PS3 version! I'm going to get the PC version anyway, but I think the main thing that people missed was the announcement of STEAM+PSN integration. The Portal 2 announcement kind of overshadowed the better of the two awesomeness-es.

This is the best news I possibly could have heard. The only thing that didn't sit right with me in the E3 trailers was Wheatley's voice, and I think Merchant is the perfect voice actor to get it right.
