Portal 2 Wheatley...where have we heard him before?

Anyone else notice that Wheatley (portal 2) has the same voice as Shaun from Assassin's Creed?
Though it would be weird if there was a connection between Abstergo and Aperture.

Thoughts?

Wheatley is voiced by Stephen Merchant, Shaun is voiced by Danny Wallace. There is no connection.

And Danny Wallace is the guy who wrote, 'Yes Man' (that got adapted into that awful Jim Carrey film) and starred in 'How to Start Your Own Country'.

Both funny men, and minor British celebrities, but no gaming link whatsoever.

Yep, Merchant is best known for his work with Ricky Gervais. Probably better known to us Brits to be honest.
