I'm getting it foremost for the single-player - just myself, on my own, solving some nice puzzles and soaking in the story. I'm thinking that it will be quite different to the original Portal - more scripted, and more in-line with the Half-Life universe, but still brilliant and just as good, if not better.

The co-op is... meh. I can understand that it'd be a lot of fun and that Valve are focussing on it as a feature because co-op is all the rage now, of course... but it's just not what I'm buying the game for.

It was delayed in typical Valve fashion, but everything they've released I've found to be pure gold so I couldn't care less if it was pushed back a few months.

OT: I'M SUPER FREAKING EXCITED BRA! Seriously, it would be nice to have a quality game such as portal taking up my free time rather than meandering around between the mediocre grey/brown "realistic" shooters. Until Deus ex: Human Revolution comes out that is.

Portal 2 is going to be one of those games that basically regardless of quality everyone will play. I doubt it will be bad but I do have my doubts about it being able to live up to its predecessor narratively because it does have to full a game this time not just a side project.

I simply want the game. Hopefully it will hold me over till the next game on my list. I think it's F.E.A.R. 3. Unlikely that it will though, as Dragon Age II only lasted me about two weeks. I REALLY need to find a full-time job. And a girlfriend.

I think it will be good, but if it dosen't have Chell it will not be great. Most of the funny diolog will come from GLaDOS aimed at Chell for her escape attempt and such.

But hopefully this will be a triumph, and we can make a note here that says HUGE SUCCESS.

If you didn't get it don't play Portal 2, you have no idea what happend in the first one.
