Ok well I bought portal a few days ago on steam, I've really enjoyed. But I im stumped on lvl 18 or stage 18 whatever you want to call it. But anyway I have got the energy ball in the thing that it goes in and the bridge thing has started but I dont know how to get to the top floor were the cube was I think I know how to do it but it dosent seem to work so you people who do play it I would be very pleased if you could give me some advice.

And the people who are stuck on other lvl's just say which one and im sure the people who look at this will help.

I was stuck on the same point level, I found the solution on Youtube.

but I'll explain as well as i can

use the moving platform to get to the otherside, activate the "door" you came in through. Portal to the beginning. Put a portal on the "door", jump down into a portal on the platform on your right (looking into the room). you'll land on the edge with the cube. you'll know what to do from here.

i just bought portal through steam at the weekend also (Yay for 66% off on orange box), i was stuck at this same point for a good 30 minutes untill i realised what i was suppsoed to do.
once i worked it out, i was slapping myself for being so silly.
