Yeah, it's more of a morbid kind of humor, I don't think there is any slapstick in it.

i have never played the real portal, but i have played the online flash version and memorized the words to "Still Alive" and that's enough to make me wish for Portal 3 (because the second one was as awesome as the first.)

It's one of my favourite games of all time.

So yes, I liked it.

I have to say though I found Psychonauts a lot funnier, but I guess it's a very different kind of humour.

It is morbid or black humor.
Slap stick is when someone hurts themselves.
By geitting slapped by a stick for instance. Or slipping on a banana peal.

Hey, you can download more maps off Xbox Live. The Flash Map-Pack is available for download but it costs around 800MS points I think but I'm not positive so don't hold me to that one. Also if you have it on PC those maps are free.

It's fun for like 3 hours, but it has absolutely no replay value.

I've played through it 6 times.
It's got a hellova' lot of replay value.

Umm do you solve your crosswords ten times too?

Portal is really awesome, but it has no replay value, because if you solve a puzzle once, you allready know how to do it, and doing it again is simply repeating your actions.

I love Portal, it has so many of those "look what I did!" Moments.
Everything about it is incredible, the puzzles, the humour, the atmosphere, I only hope that should they make a second game they don't lose the spark, though this is Valve we're talking about, so I don't think that's likely to happen.

Portal is great, even better if you don't know what you're doing, like me. I'd say it was better than HL2, but not better than TF2, due to the fact that Medics kick ass.

Yeah, Portal's pretty much perfect. Not too much, not too little, perfectly paced. Although, imho, the funniest game ever is Sam and Max: Hit the Road.

I loved Portal, I thought it was great and wished it was longer, maybe giving me more puzzles over Xbox Live or something would be appreciated. I look forward to Portal 2.

I think that's Portal: Still Alive. Never played it, but I heard it is simply more puzzles.

Once you went through it once, the jokes aren't funny anymore and the puzzles aren't hard anymore.. So yeah, it was GREAT for as long as it lasted.

I actually didn't care for Team Fortress 2. Not gotten into Half-Life yet.

I will say that HL2, while it is a great game, is not for everybody. I wasn't really digging it until I got to Ravenholm (you can see on the level select menu where that is- it's pretty far in.) I've played through twice now.

I mean yes it deserves the praise it gets but then so did Heath Ledger as the Joker and everyone is sick of hearing about how good he was. So maybe we can stop with the 'dude Portal is good' threads?

But...dude...Heath Ledger was good.
