I wish I could erase Portal from my brain so I could experience playing it for the first time again... *sigh*
Yeah, it's more of a morbid kind of humor, I don't think there is any slapstick in it.not a zaar said:What? When is there slapstick in Portal? Seriously, I can't think of a single example.arc101 said:portal has the best slap stick comedy of any game anytime ever.. so funny!!
Wait what? When was there a second one?Dark assassin for hire said:i have never played the real portal, but i have played the online flash version and memorized the words to "Still Alive" and that's enough to make me wish for Portal 3 (because the second one was as awesome as the first.)
It is morbid or black humor.arc101 said:portal has the best slap stick comedy of any game anytime ever.. so funny!!

"What is that?!"
"What's that?!"
"What is THAT?!"
"Ooooh what's in here?!"
"Who are you?"
"Oh look at THAT thing! No. That other thing!"
"Ooh that thing has numbers on it!"
"Ewww.. What's wrong with your legs?!"
Love portal's humor. The lines GLaDOS sprouts are truly amazing.SmilingKitsune said:I love Portal, it has so many of those "look what I did!" Moments.
Everything about it is incredible, the puzzles, the humour, the atmosphere, I only hope that should they make a second game they don't lose the spark, though this is Valve we're talking about, so I don't think that's likely to happen.

I think that's Portal: Still Alive. Never played it, but I heard it is simply more puzzles.Vrex360 said:I loved Portal, I thought it was great and wished it was longer, maybe giving me more puzzles over Xbox Live or something would be appreciated. I look forward to Portal 2.
Bofus Teefus said:I will say that HL2, while it is a great game, is not for everybody. I wasn't really digging it until I got to Ravenholm (you can see on the level select menu where that is- it's pretty far in.) I've played through twice now.Khazoth said:I actually didn't care for Team Fortress 2. Not gotten into Half-Life yet.But...dude...Heath Ledger was good.Vrex360 said:I mean yes it deserves the praise it gets but then so did Heath Ledger as the Joker and everyone is sick of hearing about how good he was. So maybe we can stop with the 'dude Portal is good' threads?
