Possible Countdown Site To Modern Warfare 3?

So, some wanderers of this very interweb have found a site, it is called findmakarov.com
Now, those that played Modern Warfare 2 know that Makarov is one of the primary villains in the game, but you never capture him. Now, if this site uses the typical countdown thing, it goes from (right to left) fractions of a second, seconds, minutes, hours, days. On the website, you can clearly see that it claims that there is only about one day left until the counter ends. Activision has denied this is related to Modern Warfare 3, but with the rumors that Infinity Ward now is back, and that they will show off MW3 at GDC, I think that they are lying.
What are your thoughts?

Infinity Ward have even announced at the start of the year that there will be no Modern Warfare 3 this year. I sincerely doubt it's another Call Of Duty game.

Aha; found the article but misunderstood. Was an unconfirmed source supposeldy within Activion etc, etc.

I'm pretty sure Infinity Ward isn't in charge of the series anymore.

I'm not sure they even still exist...

lets just hope they actually update the engine, get better sound design, stop killing the playable character, and give it a good plot. cause quite frankly, people are going to get tired of call of duty if they keep makeing the same game over and over.

Activision's denying it, but I think they're lying through their teeth. They also called Modern Warfare 2 a hoax, then they said "Just kidding, it was real!"
