"br00tal" -core music is for skinny 19 year-old man-children with emo hair and the punk rock sound has become trite and pop-ish for most newer bands It's a different case for the original hardcore and punk bands, though.

Not that I'm trying to sound badass by listening to certain music or that I consider myself badass in any way.
