That's "too" not "to". I'm talking about the tread title. Don't worry, everyone makes mistakes.

I don't really mind how many post counts I get on my threads. As long as I get at least one I'm happy.

Suck on my virtual dick!
To be honest, I think it's just higher post counters are more easily recognised so people feel easier talking to them.

Err since when people judge others for their posts count on here? I mean do you got proofs of this judgemental thing happening?

I think this is stupid too. Post count =/= value of worth on forums.

Just because I have a forum game addiction does not mean I am wiser than anyone who has only 3 posts or something.

Post count does not matter.

If you have >100 posts it shows that you haven't been a complete asshole (generally)...the poster is more of a known quantity. It doesn't really follow a linear trend though; I wouldn't respect the opinion of someone with 30,000 posts more than someone with 300 posts.
in my mind it would be less for someone with 30k posts actually, in my mind they would have either way too much time on their hands, spend way too much time here or just comment on everything without adding much insight into anything or a combination of those.

not accusing anyone though ! same reason people go "hmmmm" when someone posts without an avatar

I've never seen anyone judged on there post count.

Though it is quite common to see a "Whats your favourite movie/game?" Thread by someone with a post count of 4.

But still, my post count is somewhere in the 6000s, but that doesnt tell you much about me other than I've said alot, It doesnt mean that what I say is in anyway intelligent or meaningful.

Edit: wow, I keep glancing at peoples post counts now......

That's like dismissing someones post because they have an avatar you don't like. It's completely false, and few people do it.

People don't respect my opinion here and my post count is huge, nor am I well know because of it. And I instantly look at anyway who uses post count as a way to value anyones opinions as a **** who isn't worth anyone's time.

Besides, it's the internet, not many people are gonna value your opinion anyway. :p
This post was full of grammar fail and might still be, but I'm ill so meh.
That's not true! If you would just go back to your Dr. Cox avatar people would immediately recognise you and your opinion would be the only one that mattered.
Also, I see your aliceblue and raise you snowspeak.

OT: I've never seen that to be the case, so I don't really know what it is you are going on about.
I do, however, take umbrage with people who are not grammatically correct in posting, so I tend to hold them to scrutiny more.
Personal issues with that and whatnot, I don't mean to do it, I just do.

It's not so much post counts that matter.

It's more about how you post things, the ideas you share and the way your personality shines through.

You'll never be as brilliant as me, that's a given, but you can at least try.

It's not that you get less attention, it's that people who have been here longer are more well known and people are more likely to respond to them.

I have never cared about post count, regardless of which message board I'm on. Obsessing over post count is like a dick waving contest and no one wants to see that.

I read the OP and read the shorter posts and skim the larger ones. Although if the thread is 3-4 pages long, I won't even post since I doubt there would be anything I could add.

I guess that make's scence it's just i have been reading through a couple of threads today and more time's than i would like people have called others a noob beacuse they have a low post count.
Have you considered that those people were just jerks?

The only form of judging that I've seen based on a post count is when someone has like only 5 posts and it's obvious they're being a troll or it's a thinly vieled ad, that's whenever I've noticed remarks on post counts and they're just stating that their is a likelihood that the original poster only made the account to piss people off.

When I first started posting I was never discriminated against for it. Some people were assholes others were very respectable, but no one ever mentioned my post count.

Is your post-counter broken or do you have 62 thousand posts?.

What. The. Shit.

I've always expected to reach a certain post-count after like, 4 years or something, yet I'm still just pushing a couple thousand. Boggles my mind the amount of posts some people have on this site despite only joining in 2010 or some shit.

But i guess most people arnt that bad. I wonder how we can fix the few that do?
I would love to see any example of this "your post count is low so suck on an egg noob!" comments that you seem to be seeing everywhere because I've been lurking for years here and don't recall ever seeing anyone say that (or anything close to that).

Well clearly if you had a higher post count you'd have already seen it.

Actually I kinda like that, I think I'll use it whenever I'm being facetious. Yeah, that'll do.

Pffft. Your avatar is purple, therefore what you say is invalid!

That used to happen a lot on this website called yugiohetc I used to visit (I even indulged in it myself once, sadly_ but I've never found that to be the case here.

I think post count was actually admired round here more back in the olden days. I remember when people said that the forum title 'Gone Gonzo' used to mean something/ was challenging to achieve before almost everyone was able to get it through forum games and user groups. I stopped seeing stuff like that being posted ages ago -- largely because too many people have the title for it to be of any 'value'. Since then the only time I've ever really seen stuff about post counts have been in threads like this saying that we value them too much.

An unrelated note, but your avatar/ username/ forum title/ general existence is awesome.
