Post counts

I don't judge people by their post count or the time they joined, as they don't actually relate to their ability to post coherently and in a relevant manner. I've been on this site since Yahtzee's review of Crysis, and I've been reading the articles and watcching the various videos ever since. I just didn't bother to join until recently because no topics really interested me.

Post counts mean nothing to me, much, MUCH less than the "Joined: _ ___ 20__" tag in fact. However, I am occasionally astonished when someone has been here for as little as a year and has over 12,000 posts.

There's always an air that the people with more posts are more likely to be listened too than those with low ones.

Why don't I get any of that air?

I'd hope any credibility I have has been ruined by some of my more verbose rants.

I barely notice the post count in the corner, when I do look I tend to look more at the joined date than the post count.

im new to this website and some people say that i have been posting loads but thats only becuase im bored and i like to not becuse i want to have i high post count i really couldnt care less about that.

You're close to 10,000 posts though, I would hazard a guess people will automatically treat you differently once you're over that mark. Plus you're a Time Lord, how can you not respect that?
