My Battlestation.
Usually, the Monitor on the far right is also plugged into my desktop, which is hidden away below my desk. However, when I took this picture, I had just been playing my XBox.
I've tidied up since then!
I've got speakers, it's a soundbar on the main 30" monitor. Otherwise I just use my wireless G110 headset. I also just got a new mouse. Corsair M60, great upgrade from my old G5.LordFish said:Niiccee, Although I find your lack of speakers disturbing
ALSO: I'd like to point out, that the ONLY thing left in my rig from that previous battlestation picture is the Mx518 mouse... I hope this thread lasts a few days, new speakers coming soon and I could do with a reason to tidy up and maybe add a couple of screens... would require a lot of drilling into to walls though, as I have the worlds smallest desk -_-
You knew eexxaacctttllyy what he meant, you just want to show off your customised gui... Pretty damn sweet though, must be heart breaking when you need to format.PoloniumFist said:Oh THAT kind of desktop. I though you meant your desktop icons or how cool your Rainmeter is, etc.

Not anymore actually -- you can create a file with all the info about the skin and you can restore it perfectly to what it was before.LordFish said:must be heart breaking when you need to format.
30" monitor... surely you mean 20"?broadbandaddict said:I've got speakers, it's a soundbar on the main 30" monitor. Otherwise I just use my wireless G110 headset. I also just got a new mouse. Corsair M60, great upgrade from my old G5.
Nope. 30" Dell U3011. The monitor to the side is a 24" Dell U2410.LordFish said:30" monitor... surely you mean 20"?broadbandaddict said:I've got speakers, it's a soundbar on the main 30" monitor. And yeh, those dell soundbars are surprisingly good, but I've recently decided to turn into and audiophile, will let you know if the sound card and bookshelf speakers were worth it sometime next week![]()
Jesus, I had a long hard look at it... mind you, that keyboards prolly bigger than mine, plus if that' a 24" on the side.broadbandaddict said:Nope. 30" Dell U3011. The monitor to the side is a 24" Dell U2410.
Yeah they are pretty giant, but games look so good on them. Totally the best PC related purchase I've made. In my opinion the monitor is the most important part of a PC, you spend like 99% of your interaction with the computer looking at it. The only downside is price.LordFish said:Jesus, I had a long hard look at it... mind you, that keyboards prolly bigger than mine, plus if that' a 24" on the side.
I ordered one of those U3011s for the CAD department at work last year, it was stonkingly massive.
That looks cool, how did you go about doing it?PoloniumFist said:Oh THAT kind of desktop. I though you meant your desktop icons or how cool your Rainmeter is, etc.

In the Control Panel you can set different zoom settings for items on the screen. I have my resolution on 1920x1080 with 150% zoom because I can't stand the small items.DustlessDragoon said:I know it's pretty bad, really should put it higher.LordFish said:DustlessDragoon said:Actually this screen is pretty hi-res, I just have it set low because everything looks tiny when its set higher, can't be bothered adjusting all settings and stuff![]()
