Hey, this year was actually an interesting election, a lot of new people and a lot of close finishes. I SALUTE you for following the election. This is important stuff and it makes you a better citizen to get involved.

I just wish that people can motivate the people they elected and that there isn't any showboating/whimpering when every tally is done. I also hope that people realize that single party rule, by either side is totally insane and just causes backlash and a feeling amongst politicians that they can throw a bunch of shit into bills and no one will be the wiser.

I dont see all the up in arms. So the Republicans win. That just makes a standstill for two years for Obama, and if he's not re-elected for a second term, then a Republican president will just raise taxes to make up for what the Democrats passed. Either way, both parties will come out screwed in the next 6-10 years.
