Posts Leading To Suspension

When I'm reading through a thread and I see someone is on probation or suspended, does anyone else look for the post they were suspended for? I think it's fascinating to see what the moderators deem a suspension-worthy post. I mean, I can understand some of them, but i've seen some examples (of course I can't find them now, but at the time of reading them I remember thinking "THAT got that person suspended?") that just didn't seem to justify the poster being suspended or banned.

LET ME CLARIFY: This is not a post meaning to bash moderators or anything like that. I think you guys do a great job overall in creating and maintaining an environment in which (mostly) mature discussions can be had about stuff we all love.

My question is; does anyone else actively seek out the posts that warranted suspension when they see that someone has been suspended?

I used to look at them whenever I found them, but after a while I got bored.

Now I only look at them when the thread name that they got suspended, or put on probation for makes me curious.

What a lot of people don't seem to understand is, that unless the offence is truly horrific/offensive/whatever, it generally won't get a ban (suspension) right off the bat.
If you think someone got a ban they didn't deserve for a "little" offence, it is most likely because they have had past warnings/probations/etc, and chose to continue breaking the rules.
And as for your question, yeah, I guess I do, most of the time.

I tend to look at what they did to get suspended, I found some of the ones I've seen to be pretty ridiculous and others that are downright crying "Please suspend me!"
ONT (On New Topic): What if you have green hair AND money? Can you screw the rules twice, or do you just get to screw the rules once, just twice as hard?

I usually look at why people get banned. Don't really seek out banned posts though. Sometimes it's a bad one, sometimes it's just mild, but usually all of the time it's justified.

There's been a topic for this, use the search bar.
Is it really that big of a deal if there's already been A topic about this? I personally don't think so.

Anyway, when you guys look for these posts are you using them more as a cautionary tale of what you can/can't get away with or is it just interest in something deemed "ban-able" ?

Considering I see a new thread with this exact topic at least 5 times a week, yeah it gets annoying.

Well if it's really that big of an annoyance (I personally haven't seen a post like this before but whatever) then just shut the whole thing down. If you see a topic with a similar or identical title to one you've already read, why go to it if it bothers you that much?

I'm not really trying to be an asshole here, I'm just curious. If I see a topic that I don't want to read or feel like I've already read, then I don't go to it. Simple, right? Then the people who want to discuss the topic can, and those who don't want to, don't have to.
