Potential Endings for Mass Effect 3

I'd be amazed if there aren't "everyone dies, Reapers win" and "everyone dies, but Reapers are still defeated" endings. Still, if I had to guess the "best" ending (turns forum flaming deflectors to maximum), at least how I've played (maximum paragon), I think it would go thus:
Krogan form shock troopers against indoctrinated slaves.
Shepard convinces the Geth and Quarians to sign a truce and form a giant space armada of badassness along with the Alliance forces to fight the Reapers in space.
The Council will whine and cry and beg Shepard to save them. Again.
Cerberus will try to screw you over at some point. Again.
In the end, good guys win (though probably with some sacrifices, unless you're just THAT badass), Shepard will give the Council the finger and tell them, "You should have listened to me asshats," then go on a yearlong pleasure cruise in the Normandy with his/her significant other of choice.
After installing a hot tub in the captain's stateroom.
Because that's totally what I'd do

I predict that Bioware will pass on Mass Effect 3 to Obsidian who will kill the game several weeks before it's early release. /pessimism
I'm still not done with the second game but I don't see the third game as being the end of the series. Drew is likely going to write up more books so as to expand the universe and maybe introduce a spin-off game or several. Not necessarily on the 360 or, 720 or whatever but, LARPGs and whatnot. /wishful thinking
I just hope they make ammo infinite again in the third. Seriously, that annoyed me. I would also like the ability to buy AND sell at shops. That would be nice, ya know?

lets be honest the plots for mass effect are pritty basic. i mean the actualy story and stuff has a vy deep but its simple
universe is doomed

sending it wild and making all the mass relays close but distroying all the reapers in the process, something like that

Shepard will most likely get a Fallout 3 type option of choosing his/her ending legacy. I kind of hope that they incorporate the decisions made in the first two Mass Effects at the conclusion though. I mean, if you spent all of ME1 and ME2 being as evil as possible and carried that persona over into ME3, and then acted good, I would hope that the game would still remember that you were a prick for quite a while.

The end won't come from the Reapers...
But from the obsessive, xenophile fans themselves...
-Starting with the main cast and then moving in random occurrences throughout the galaxy, characters and NPCs alike with suddenly change race and gender. Their bodies will bubble and shift, their limbs' blinding gyration letting out sickening noises. They'll transform in the blink of an eye...into Tali Zorah.
-Soon even Anderson will be overtaken by the disease spreading amongst cast and extras. His voice will change, then his eyes will glow, and just as he lets out a final squeal of agony, he will become...her!
-Even the geth will change, for Tali's worldwide fandome demands it. Shepard will look up to the darkened skies to see giant Talis screaming, "I've watched you for so long!!"
-In the end, no one will be left. Having watched Wrex and the Legion morph into Talis, Shepard will take his last stand in the Citadel, the very spot where Saren killed himself for redemption.

I think a few things are really going to depend on the choices you made... I see several things happening...
1. Cerberus could really screw you over or the collector ship could be the key to ending it.
2. The Rachni could come in and save the day in the end.
3. If you wiped, rather than destroyed the other geth, maybe they can help you with reaper technology to counter their assault.
Any way you look at it, it's going to be fucking EPIC.

Also, I concur that the "Gondor calls for aid" scenario might take place. Quarians or Geth, perhaps, Alliance or other races, it could definitely fit.

I'm banking on a joke ending where Mordin celebrates the success of the crew's mission by putting on a musical starring himself.
In terms of actual endings, there will be the obligatory "honorable" ending where the entire crew sacrifices themselves to save the universe as well as the "total negative" ending where everyone dies and the rest of the universe is screwed.
The ending I'd like to see is one where, depending on how many times you screw up the final mission, a certain number of things will go wrong in the final part, which will lead you to have to sacrifice certain people who can save the rest of the crew at the cost of their own lives. Using someone unfit for this will lead to their death without success, which will force the player to send another person to do the same task. Depending on the player's specialty, they can go in and solve some of the problems, and either try to escape or finish as many tasks as possible to save everyone else. It sounds pretty complicated, but if the next game's ending is anything like the second game's ending, this could be a possibility if the ending is done in the same format.
