EDIT:
A question on a tangent, Newegg states that my MotherBoard "Foxconn's M61PMV is an

affordable Micro-ATX motherboard". What is the difference between Mirco ATX and ATX? Could

this be the root of my power supply compatibility problem? I have attempted to do research, but

as stated below, I am not computer savvy, any help would be nice.

TLDR:
I need a power supply compatible with my computer(mid size), I am not tech savvy, Price range 100-120$(u.s.a)

This is the power supply i was using before it stoped working:

Broadway Com Corp OKIA-500-RB 500W ATX 12V V2.2 Power Supply

I tried this power supply twice, but was unsuccesful:

Long Version:
Wanting to play Guild wars 2, I attempted to upgrade my Computer. I bought a new graphics

card, the gtx 550 ti, and installed it. I was warned that I could overload my Power supply

since it was only 500 watts , and guild members told me that it could draw anywhere from 100-

200 watts on load(unconfirmed}. However after playing 2 weeks on 2 fps, I stopped caring.

The new card was used for about 1 and 1/2 week before my power supply died , with it failing

to boot my system, and it's fan making a very loud, almost buzzing noise. During those weeks of

playtime, I was running Guild wars 2 on all low settings, and I had my case fan at 90%, if this

is relevant. I read that cleaning the power supply out with compressed air, or the like could

help, but I don't have any, and I honestly think I just overloaded it. So I went and got the

Corsair power supply listed above, and attempted an install. I made sure all the connections

were secure, several times, and tried a boot. The fans for the cpu, gpu, case, and power supply

were all spinning, but it was not loading my bios or windows. I checked my connections

repeatedly, just to make sure it was not me, but I never got a boot. I feared it

was a dead on arrival Power supply, so I exchanged it for an identical. This new identical one

also had the same issues. I'm pretty sure it's a compatibility issue because when swapping the

corsair power supply for the 500w one listed above, my original, it booted fine(this was before

it died obviously). So now I ask if there is anyone who can suggest to me power supplies that

would work with my components listed on top?
