As the title says PR:ArmA 2 beta comes out on friday. Is anyone else as excited as I am for this?
Project Reality is a series of total convertion mods that tweak games to be more of a realistic war sim, for example, if you want to be a pilot you will have to be a pilot from start to finish of the match (wich are quite long) and you WILL work for the team and not for the kills. You will never leave the heli and you will follow orders of other squad leaders.No_Remainders said:I don't actually know what PR:ArmA 2 is, so not really..
Care to shed some light?

What servers do you play on?josemlopes said:Project Reality is a series of total convertion mods that tweak games to be more of a realistic war sim, for example, if you want to be a pilot you will have to be a pilot from start to finish of the match (wich are quite long) and you WILL work for the team and not for the kills. I dont know how good Project Reality: ArmA 2 (just to get things clear) but the PR version of Battlefield 2 was great, one time me and my squad were holding a bunker, we stayed there for 15 minutes (I was a medic so I had to follow orders) and while no enemy came it was still very tense, and that is what it does well, it is always very atmospheric so even if nothing is going on the feeling is still great.
The problem is that it is quite hard to get into, and not many people will help you if you dont know how to play, although since that is the case it is hard to find a match with griefers and players that dont play for the team.
OT: Not really, ArmA has a clunky gameplay and since the BF2 version is very good the way it is I think I´ll keep the BF2 version.
I dont play it for some time now, I did install the recent update but didnt played it yet.xGraeme63x said:Well that beat my description of it.
