I just seem to be having a bad week. So I seem to be having lots of problems with this pre-paid credit card I got, and it doesn't make sense because I used it once JUST FINE and now there is 23.88 on the card, I should also mention that it worked for the one time then when i tried to purchase funds for my Steam Account again it said it was declined due to insufficient funds.

Which is dumb because there IS sufficient funds and NOW it just says this "Your purchase has not been completed. Your credit card information has been declined by your credit card company"

I have also registered everything on the cardstore whatever website and I have all the right information in, anyone know how to fix any of this? I have a theory that this is one of those wait 24 hours kind of thing. Also while we're on the subject if I buy something from a store and use my card, will it be declined?

Try adding it to your paypal? If you have a paypal and you can do that of course.

They sometimes (and by sometimes, I mean often) charge you per transaction. So you have less than you believe. It also holds $5 or some bullshit amount for about a week of you getting the card; don't ask me why, how much or how long they hold it for, but they do. Lastly, Steam seems to HATE those cards. I got one as a gift and tried to use it and it didn't work, no matter what amount I tried to use it for. I use the card for my ps3 two seconds later and it works fine. Those cards are terrible. If you have a credit card, use it. If you don't, use your parents and give them cash for whatever you spend and spend it right in front of them and send THEM the email describing what you buy and for how much. Vanilla mastercards and visas and stuff are terrible and just cause headaches.

Wish I had found this out before, maybe i'll use it for my Xbox 360 then

EDIT: Can I still use it in a store though? Like say to buy a book?

EDIT EDIT: I should also mention on my account FOR the card it says 23.88 so I know that's the right amount and I'm only trying to get 5.00$
