Well, went to the midnight showing of it. Don't know why I expected something decent from it, but to say the least, it was disappointing. Would make a review about it, but it's almost 3, and I'm dead tired.

But to make this post meaningful, not worth the money; hard-core fan or not.

But, on the bright side, some guy dressed in a predator custom, which was pretty awesome I have to say.

Without going into detail about why it's not worth the money, you're not really making your post meaningful or validating your opinion.

All I know about the film is that some tired person didn't like it, which is hardly a critique worth forming my own opinion on.

But in the tradition of poor movie reviews which make it onto the posters, I'll edit your critique to paint the film in a more positive light.

To quote myself from the AvP user group:

Hooray, finally we get a movie before the USA do!

I watched it yesterday, and it blew the roof right off my 'badass scale'. It's just as I hoped: The movie is proof that Rodriguez is the right man for this source material. Also, it goes to show that the oldskool way of making movies still works amazingly well - very few complex CGI effects, no forced character depth, no unforeseeable mindfuck plot twists... just 105 minutes of straightforward asskicking with extremely solid atmosphere.

By the way: The multi-targeter scene from the trailer is nowhere in the movie, and it's not a reboot. Mr Rodriguez, you dirty little liar! :p
To sum it up: If you like this franchise you're in for a treat.

Yes, he does, but in a totally awesome way and not without taking one of those fuckers with him.
