So I heard that there's a new predator movie coming out. I don't know what to think about it and there isn't much info, at least that I've found. I was wondering if anyone has heard anything of interest about it and what your thoughts on this movie are. Do you think it'll be shit or does it have potential? Adrien Brody as a badass marine, yay or nay? Discuss.

Looks good. I am a huge fan of the original movies ad this looks like it's going back to those roots. I'm trying not to get to hyped though because it could still turn out to be shit like AVP:R.

Adrien Brody is a pretty serious actor. My biggest fear is that it will be a made-for-TV quality B movie and I don't think someone like him would sign on to a film like that. I'm hoping its good. Does anyone have any plot info?

I'm not too sure about the cast choices, but it kind of makes sense. They were prisoners who crashed on the Predators gaming planet. Not all of the actors are supposed to be playing bad-asses. Movie looks cool as hell to me, I'm really looking forward to it.

Well, they're going the same way as 'Alens', as is evident in the title. So in all likelihood it will be a solid action movie, with some memorable quotes, but they'll remove virtually everything that made 'Predator' so good in the first place.

Totally agree... no good could come from such a casting.

Personally, Brody and Rodriguez are the only things that have my hopes high on this. Great lead actor, great... well interesting director. Movie might not be perdator at heart but it will still be good with this set up.

It looks promising, however i am scared i am going to be disappointed once more when super intelligent aliens with advanced weapon technology and years upon years of experience hunting the most deadly dangerous creatures in the galaxy get killed by some good ol boy Americans with nothing but there gumption and American lead.

No, that wasn't a slight at Americans. That's just how these movies ALWAYS end. I loved the AvP series for no other reason then the good ol Americans didn't triumph over the predators.

In this movie there is only three possible endings. Humans win, Predators win, Both teams lose in some punch out where they both stab/shoot each other at the same time. Only the Predators winning would really surprise me.

I'm still going to watch it, I'm probably going to like it, and if the predators win I will send love mail to Robert Rodriguez every July 9th faithfully.

It's always the one you least expect... seriously, has hollywood really warped your perception so much that you need every character to fall into a specific stereotype. I'm sorry if that comes across as rude of me to say, but its an aspect of modern society that really grinds my gears.
