Prep Me for RedFaction: Guerrilla

[King of the Sandbox]

I'm dipping into the sandbox for a title that I've somehow missed, Red Faction: Guerrilla.

I'm just about to pop the game in, and I was wondering if there was anything you could tell me, without spoiling any big story stuff, that will help me preempt any situation you'd have liked to have known about before hand.

Also, what did you think of the game? Am I in for a treat or a disappointment?

Stock up on explosive and you are set for fun. Explosives are all you need for a good time in that game. That or heavy duty vehicles. Some have complaints with the game but I had a fair bit of fun with it. Can't really see people's problem.

Edit: Oh yes the hammer is awesomely useful. Need a quick way out of a room? HAMMER TIME! Congratulations you have a new door to escape through!

Also driving your car through buildings can be quite enjoyable.

OMG, I just sledgehammered a wall, and it was so much fun. I have a feeling this game is going to be orgasmic.

I found it very disapointing, and i loved the two first ones.. In my opinion they completely flocked themselves over by making it a third person shooter..

I was a big fan of Red Faction 2's multiplayer, so I see where you're coming from, but this is just a different type of game, that's all... now, if it had been purported to be the same as it's predecessors, I could have been upset. But when I found out it was a sandbox game, well... as you may have guessed, for obvious reasons, it diffused my disappointment in that regard.

Also, do I need to worry about being in this building when it comes down? lol
