bullets are not magnetic!
it's literally this dumb:
there's maby 1 or 2 types of highly specialised bullet ( that actually has iron content! ) that could be vulnerable to magnetic interception and you wouldn't use them on a mech anyway..
It's not even asking for realism... just basic logic
other than that, it looks pretty sweet. might get me a copy.
essentially, magnetic objects do not have as much mass as lead, depleted uranium and fmj arrangements that are already used in bullets because of their effective mass so yes it's possible to smelt a magnetic bullet, you just wouldn't when there are such abundant sources of heavier materials so, 'in theory' perhaps, if you could generate a magnetic field like that that wouldn't instantly short out your mech.. but in practice nah. it's just silly but then it's a game so logic / out the window!Combustion Kevin said:(wouldn't that just draw the bullet towards the head?)The Lugz said:bullets are not magnetic!
maybe they use different bullets in the future, or use a different sort of magnetic field than we're used to, I dunno, They'll explain it in-game.
maybe.
other than that, why aren't we just making a new futuristic Battlefield installment? I can totally see these things walking alongside tanks in a massive scale battle, just think of them as specialised anti-infantry vehicles.
they would make a bigger target than a tank, or at least way harder to conceal, use that as a balancing mechanism.
