I'm sure all of us have one possession that we are really protective of, that item you think you'll grow old/older with, set on the mantle piece, then have it broken by a child, dog and/or

So what?s yours? Where is it? What times do you leave the house and is there any security we should know about?

Personally in my collection I have some dusty vinyl collections, however in amongst the old and new guys is a first edition Jimi Hendrix electric lady land, with the first print cover original sleeves and all that goodness. Currently it has several inches of plastic between it and the tainted air we seem to enjoy so much.

I still have my NES and an origional copy of FF1. Thats still stored in the loft covered in bubble wrap and that weird foam paper stuff inside an old safe box. Might venture in one day to break it out and re-live some old memories.

I love treasure hunting! My two most prized possessions are probably my venetian mask, and the cow skull that hangs on my bedroom wall, both simply because they're things I've wanted for a long time, and weren't easy to get. :p

In a way, it's more about the hunting than it is the getting. The next thing on my list is a pair of aviator goggles! :D

My oreodont fossil. On my 9th birthday we went to South Dakota. We took a tour of a dig site and the lead archeologist gave it to me. It gives me chills just thinking about the history of it.

Or my original 1920 copy of "This Side of Paradise"

Can't think of much. My collection of Warhammer models maybe; and my Haruhi Suzumiya nendoroid.

I don't really have precious things, I wouldn't be too happy if my SNES or the old Gameboy got thrown away though.

I have this large teddy sitting right beside my bed which I was given when I was very young. It has holes everywhere, it's stuffing is leaking out, it's head is floppy like it's been decapitated but they stopped half way. But it's my special teddy. I like it just how it is and I would kill the person who breaks/steals it.

Probably my watch. It was my first proper watch, which my parents gave to me the day I started secondary school. It's gotten a little battered over the last few years, including a crack in the lens, but that just marks it out as mine.

My GF visited Australia and brought me back a bracelet with seashells. It looks a little girly Lol. But I never go anywhere without it.

I dunno, I don't really place much stock in stuff. I suppose my guitar and my bronze medal from the 2006 Canadian Improv Games are about my most prized possessions.

There's my Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 Gundam Unit 2 (Physalis) action figure. Although if I had to pick one object with some sentimental value I'd have to say it's my wedge (a military Head-dress). I've used the same wedge for my entire Cadet career, and if I can't keep the rest of the uniform (they usually let cadets who age out keep theirs though) then I'm keeping that. There's also the fact that it's one of the old ones, with a brass insignia instead of a fabric one. They don't make those anymore.
