So, I've installed Afraid of Monsters, an HL1 mod, and I'm having issues figuring out how to run it.

I installed it in the My Games folder, but I can't see an obvious way to run it.
All the files are a jumble in the folder, and the readme file is no use.

Does anyone have a clue what to do?

Edit: Problem solved!

I just realized I put the folder in the wrong spot. I had "C:\Sierra\Half-Life\Afraid of Monsters\AoM" when it should have just gone from Half-Life to AoM. Thanks for helping.
So it sounds like you just put the files in C:\Sierra\Half-Life\AoM
Of course assuming you installed HL1 to its default place.

Edit: Oh and if I am reading it correctly. "Step 3: Begin game. Start up Steam, click the Afraid of Monsters icon in "My Games," and get into a game! It's that easy." may be referring to you adding the game to your Steam "my games". So youd have to open steam, go to add new game and find the exe.
Oh. Well, I guess I could add it to my steam games list. There doesn't appear to be a .exe, though.

Maybe installing it as a part of HL1 is the solution, though.

Hey, thanks. Turns out I needed to register HL with steam for everthing to work.
You rock man, hug and a cookie to you.
