Problem starting Brink

I got my copy of Brink in the mail today, and I obviously went and installed it.

Well, after all that, I tried to play it, and it wouldnt start, it just crashed.

Now, however, im getting this:

The current video card / driver combination does not support OpenGL 3.1 or newer.

What is this, and can I do anything to get around it? Or does this mean my PC (a Laptop) cant run this game?
