If I nap in the morning, I usually stay in bed all day. I think they call morning naps 'going back to bed', tho.

But I can take naps in the afternoon that are like half an hour long. Sometimes 20 minutes is enough to recharge for nightly fun.

Dude, you're in your 20s. You're supposed to be all "active" and stuff. People having daytime naps should be over 55 and have ID.

The very rare few times I've been required to sleep during the middle of the day I've always felt horrid when I've woken up. Touring ftl.
Actually what about that? I have daytime naps all the time, what, in your 20's you are never tired? Or what does "active" mean? I mean yeah sure, if there's a hot girl around then I won't be napping obviously, but usually it's just me...

anyone else have the big problem of oversleeping with daytime naps?

I always seem to doze off for when It should have been 30 min, I wake up and realize I have been asleep for 4 hours >.<

Discuss haha.
Yeah I oversleep all the time. Usually 2-4 hours over. But now I have a little alarm next to me. Also it helps if I turn the air con on.

Also does your name have to do with a paladin? By any chance a Leeroy?
nah mate.

I can't sleep during the day unless I'm quite ill. Hell, I have trouble sleeping when it's an appropriate time to do so...

After reading this topic I decided to take a nap myself for five minutes or so. I figured I could do it, after all I have enough trouble going to sleep at night. Three hours later I was woken up by my dad knocking at my door wondering what I was doing in my room. So much for five minutes.

This has become a problem for me since coming to uni and usually ends with me not being able to get to sleep till 4am, and that can be a real problem if i have a 9am start =p

I find that daytime naps prevent me from falling asleep the night after. Kinda sucks, not being able to doze off even if you're so tired you think you're gonna die. :S

Mmmmmm, I love naps.

I work 3rd shift 3 nights a week and 12 hour long day shifts on the weekends so my sleep schedule is FUBARed anyway. At this point I can get home at 9am, sleep until 4pm, wake up eat dinner, game, watch tv, and go right back to sleep at 11pm and easily sleep until 8am the next day. :D

Day time naps throw me right of my routine. I sleep for a few hours and it's weird to realise it's evening and not the morning. I don't know where or when I am half the time.

I'll often fall asleep on the couch and then not be able to sleep later at night witch is really annoying.
