Yesterday my friend and I decided to renew our lease 8 months early to get lower rates. But, today when I talked to my mom about it, she told me it was a bad idea financially because we're apparently struggling to pay my rent at the moment. She told me to wait on it to see if things improve for us financially so that it would be ok to renew. Now, she hasn't signed anything, yet I did. Will it be difficult to back out of renewing for now, even though I did months in advance, and if I tell them I can't I'd be giving them like an 8 month advance warning that I might be moving out when my current lease is up? All I know is that my renewal isn't final until my mom signs the guarantor agreement.
