Problem with Saints Row 2 co-op

So my friend and I tried to ply online co-op but we got a message saying that we haven't got matching DLC. Neither of us has bought any dlc, we did both download the free dlc. any Help would be great

Yeah I got that error before, but I suggest you both delete all your DLC and try the co-op. If it works try re-downloading the free DLC to see if it will work.

Ok,turns out my dlc wasn't completely downloaded. We deleted it both and works like a charm now. Thanks guys.
