Procrastination

At the moment i am in the library at university attempting to do some work to pass my degree but the temptation to see what's going on here on The Escapist is too much and i do 5 minutes of work, 15 minutes looking at threads and general internet procrastination. e-bay is normally good for a while, too.

when there's work to be done and things to do, what do you do to procrastinate?

(i used the search button and there didn't seem to be a thread like this. well, not that i could see anyway!)

I do pretty much anything to avoid study. I've even been known to clean my room. Right now I'm putting off the whole sleeping process by being online.

I do anything except the thing I'm meant to do. I'll suddenly decide to write a song, watch a film, eat toast, nap, go on a muderous rampage, rape a chicken.. Every day things

I've just been writing a 3000 word essay that was due in 2 days ago. Did a word count; only 1500. I thought stuff this, i'll go on the escapist instead.

I'm blessed and cursed with a very active imagination. I can be left alone with nothing to play with and keep myself amused in my own head for as long as need be. While this is useful on, say, long plane trips, it's less fun during exams. I'll be doing my work, and my brain will fart up some ridiculous notion ("Who would play Mega Man in a live-action movie?") that will consume processing power for an inconvenient length of time thereafter.

I pretty much procrastinate on really stupid stuff I swear one of these days they are going to kill the power to my apartment even though I have had the money in my account for two months. though I am learning that hard way do not wait to separate male and female mice did that now I have five bloody batches I need to get rid of

To be honest I don't work that much but when I do work I get things done. And done well!

And I thought I was the only one who referred to time like that... I Procrastinate so much that I've spent time torrenting a crack version of a program to help me with that project so I can screw off at school and do it at home... And go to playing TF2 after it's finished... Procrastination is my specialty;I'm thinking I should get a better one... Maybe later...

typically, i look for stuff to put on my website (shameless plug) www.wannafork.com (currently down... hurrah for free servers... until they go down... will probably be down for a month or so more... kid with the key to the closet left for winter break right as there was hardware problems... GAH!)

other times, i check out the latest greatest threads here on the escapist or phpfreaks helpin' out on that forum... you know.. fun stuff...
