Let me start of by saying that this is not a commercial thread, it is just to raise awareness of product red.

in short, Product red is a foundation that asks big companies, like dell and apple to make products with the (RED) logo on them, and when they do a portion of the profits made is given to AIDS research and treatment, if you buy the products you do NOT pay any more then regular products, but the product will be real sweet red colour and will have the product red symbol on it somewhere.
Why I believe that this works better than normal donations is that the people that buy it do not pay anymore, but still donate to AIDS research, and the companies that make the products sell more because people are still drawn to helping other people.
why this works is because they are still selling products, and the companies make a little less profit then regular, but more people will buy the products.
I have the Product red ipod and Dell laptop, they look awesome, and did not cost me more then the regular versions.
I am not asking you to buy a new laptop or new shoes, but when you need new stuff, please check the site if there is a product (RED) version.
(the product (RED) products are all great quality)
