Splinter Cell: Double Agent -

"Profesional Ninja - 40G. Complete Solo Mode on Hard Difficulty."

How many of you can truthfully say you are "Professional Ninjas"?

And by that, I mean in every single Splinter Cell game you have played, you have beaten it at the hardest difficulty, and gotten 100% on every mission while doing so?

I for one can. I did it all of them. All four console versions. Some of the most fun, and fustration I've ever had.

NOTE: If you did in SC:CT Co-Op, that counts too.

Professional ninjas aren't people who are good at stealth games, professional ninjas are folks who run on walls, steal stuff and kill people.

I can only do two of those, so I'm not a professional ninja.

Obviously none of the mods will have played SCDA if they think this is a "Ninja" topic.

I know what you mean Samurai. The running on walls and killing people is the easy part - its stealin' their stuff that'll get ya everytime.

I've never played a Splinter Cell game in my life. The Mods don't like Ninja topics, by the way. Or Pirate topics.
What, you can't get 100% on the highest difficulty with that handicap? Not only have I done this, but I've sone it before the game actually gets in the console. When I load my game, it shows 1005 completion right from the start.

Sigh.....I'd better post what I mean so that people get the point.

The title was taken from the this Splinter Cell: Double Agent Achievement.

"Profesional Ninja - 40G. Complete Solo Mode on Hard Difficulty."

You think your a Ninja. Kee-ai!

You start with a point in brawl, and a point in melee, but firearms can never be raised above zero, as they are an anathema to your Code of the Silent Killer. Ducks too.

Ducks are an anathema too.

[End Vague Reference]

Edit: Seriously, no one caught the reference?

Do you get a gameover if you are spotted in hard mode? If not then it doesn't count as ninja.

Sounds a bit obsessive to have played every mission in order to get 100% everytime, or you like splinter cell. A lot.

I can't call myself a professional ninja, if only because playing through the same level multiple times in splinter cell wasn't as enjoyable for me as playing other games.

Fuck your fake "Ninja" achievement. I am a Real Ninja. Want to know why?

I COMPLETED REVENGE OF SHINOBI ON THE MEGADRIVE!

Yes, I killed Spiderman! That's just how awesome a Ninja I am!

The OP must not go out much. I only played the first splinter cell and hated it. Trial and error games suck.

Example: Part of the game you find 2 guys at a door with a touch pad lock. I think you were meant to use thermal vision and press the warm buttons after they'd gone in but thats boring so instead I waited till i heard the door open then tossed a frag around the corner. Both dead, door is open. Very stealthy.

So I casually creep into the room (The door opens into the room swinging to the right) and there is a fucking auto turret on the right, out of vision with no way to know its there until its cut you to ribbons. Apparently you were meant to "know" to open the door then climb on top of it to go across a high ledge.

Trial and error stinks.

Splinter Cell is not a game of trial and error - it is a game of observation and planning, and quick reflexes. A good eye will help you more then a quick trigger finger in SC.

Also, in your case.....taking the time to use the snake cam would've shown both guys, the turret, and anything else in the room.

This, also.
I've never played one either, but I still got 100% completion.

Uh. I've beat every splinter cell on hard without taking a single point of damage. I don't really consider it a feat.
