what are all of your thoughts on the up coming release of project natal are you looking forwood to it and would class it as a thing worth buying?

but for me i just feel the hole thing of waving your arms about and if anybody looks through your window they will think you are getting attacked by a bee or just gone abit insane. i dont get this hole obbsestion with try to do away with the controller they work and so fair they havent reallly made anything that would want me to part with it. i dont really bother with a stearing will for racing games because like i said before i got a controller why would i want to dish out on some money for somthing that i dont really need.
untill they make a virtual world that we can play games leave me alone with my controller but i dont really have any huge expectations for the hole thing.

While there will be likely be a good bit of casual crapware that uses only Natal, I'm certain that any GOOD games will make use of Natal and a regular controller simultaneously.

For example, an FPS with a traditional control scheme + motion sensing leaning awesomeness:

I think it'll be a fun little gimmick that will get boring after a few hours (at best). Of course, just about anything new like this is almost never flawless upon release. Even if it's bug-free, it looks about as fun as a stripped down version of The Sims.
<color=white>Which wasn't even fun in the first place. In my opinion, of course.

EDIT: Whoops. I thought Natal was strictly based upon that Milo thing. My bad.

You may not "get it", but the Wii is hugely popular across multiple demographics, and I don't blame Microsoft for wanting to slice off a bit of that cash cow. Personally, I'll be interested to see what games use the system and whether they will incorporate it organically before I plunk down the cash. I don't see motion-sensor gaming overtaking traditional controller based ones any time in the near future, but it can be a fun diversion, particularly with fitness-oriented games.

Also, I really don't like to harp on this shit, but your spelling and grammar are horrifying.

Here's what I'll say about Natal; very UNoriginal.
Why? I's basically an advanced Eye Toy. Remember the Eye Toy? It's that.
What about Mlio? It's a rip-off of Sea Man. Look it up.
Will it be fun? Despite its unoriginality, I think it might be worth a few plays at first. Then it will be raped by Third Party Game makers who don't know the concept of Fun.

On the whole, I agree. My friend got into the heavy duty controller for some mech-style or racing game but I need a steering wheel like a hole in my head. I've already had to rearrange my living room to accommodate the drum set from Rock Band. I don't want more peripherals dedicated to single games. So unless it gets seriously supported and gets rave reviews from players, not companies, I'll stick with "late adoption".

Meh, I just hope we'll be able to use it for CoD and such. Duck behind cover, knife poeple, aim with a sniper with your real ablities instead of the stupid waggle >.>

I own stock in microsoft, so I hope its a huge success.

It will be an abysmal failure, but I hope for success.

"people play games to unwind and no one unwinds by coming home and waving their arms about like an air traffic controller covered in beetles"

Yeh the Natal is going to fail to an epic degree.

Competetive FPS games are tough enough online without having to worry about tiring out your legs crouching for cover or other BS like that. It's funny, but the Wii remote is actually a really great way to play FPS games (see Metroid Prime 3) but MS and Sony are copying everything except the pointer functionality of the Wii remote.

Also, "real abilities"? What kind of couch dwelling console player has real sniper rifle abilities? That's ridiculous...
