ok, I used the search bar and found one topic from 2008 where they pointed out this guy but it only had 1 reply so i´m going to post again about him

his name is Johnny Chung Lee, he was (at the time) a student and he modded his Wii to work like project Natal before that project was ever named

he is (of course) really humble and states that behind the project are many people with many backgrounds, but i remember he was the only one i knew that had previously worked in this thing

to be fair it looks more cool in what he is doing than what Natal haves done so far, so deal with me for a sec and browse trough this videos.

he is currently working for Microsoft and in his page

http://johnnylee.net/

he keeps a blog where he discusses the projects he is working on, sooooo

what do you think about this?? doesn´t this make you think a little different about Natal??, there is a lot of potential if done right, i´m all in for the next-gen peripherials, lets just hope for a good selection of games and not all for "casual" gamers

thats cool, I wonder if they could make a cool RTS useing this tech.
I suppose if you like that sort of thing.

Personally, it doesn't get cool for me until I see hexes and a big end turn button. Then it's time to break out the shades and hire some male models to pretend to enjoy playing it.

Natal looks bland and boring and so does this and by natal i mean every motion sensor thing that has ever been created, excluding the sixaxis because it's never used.

Can't believe Nintendo didn't pick him up before MS.

It isn't as impressive as (the idea of) Natal (which you seemed to suggest for some reason, unless I read that wrong) but he's clearly got the brains and ability, even with pretty standard stuff (like the reflective sheets).

now thats an interesting mechanic!

amazing, lets just hope for the future :p
It's just multi-touch at the end of the day. Not *that* exciting. Unless you are hoping that in the future all gamers will look like they stepped out a men's magazine and will be able to make homoerotic eye contact across a cocktail table game screen.

i wasnt talking about that... i was talking about the game itself, i looked into the web page, and it seems interesting, the interface looks good, but the game itself seems great.

I may look into that Wiimote and IR pen with a LCD screen as a cheap alternative to getting a graphics tablet.
