Here's the backstory, I study Bsc Computing. Several other friends at university (around 2 others, 3 possibly) and myself are bringing it upon ourselves to make a game. This is going to be a spare time project to do while not gaming or working on Uni work. This game will be made in our spare time with no financial support so you can call us indie developers (it sounds rather cool) however we have no name or anything to call the project so for the post purposes it's just project stgp.
We thought it would be a nice touch to ask the community what they would like to see and keep them up to date every so often (could turn into months) with our progress. As part of my personal research I want to know what sort of game genre you would like to see a fresh new game adopt. It can be something vague or it can be specific (the more specific the better). This will help us understand what people actually want to play.
