Sorry, just had to go at it and....express my happiness :D!!!!

Heres the situation, Ive been working for a bigger firm for 2 years now, and I started as a 'small' worker. I put in alot of hours and learned everything I could. I had exactly 0 knowledge of anything in the start.
I got home..studied..learned..etc etc. In Germany you need an apprenticeship to get into a full paying job. I didnt have one, Im starting it in this field in that company in August. But they said my knowledge gets way past what is usually expected of an apprentice already (seeing as I took the time at home to learn/study things).

And here it comes, my boss? He called me into the office today, I am the official 'backup boss' incase hes sick or has vacation etc. Meaning Im the one who organizes events/organizes the workers, orders things...etc etc.

This may not sound like alot to some ppl but....yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay haha :D I got a promotion to the second highest position and Im an apprentice in the first year xD

Ok..Im done celebrating^^ 'opens a bottle of champagne and lets that motherfu^^er pop' just had to share my experience today with everyone here :)

Wow that is a huge step up, congratulation!

Either way, I hoped you are fully prepared when the manager does go on a vacation or became ill one day.

Congratulations!
What is that you do exactly?
I was 'normally' a waiter/barista in a guest area in a firm :)

After doing that for a year now, and starting this apprenticeship, and doing event management etc. I got the position today :)
So basically through this position I have to order things for the guest area (worldwide) for the firm...manage the events, manage how much workers are in which positions, manage if we need external help...etc etc :)

Im excited and flabbergasted^^ haha

(and its hilarious...I kid you not...the message at the bottom that I have to type in is 'you the man!' now if only someone could tell me really quick how to post a screenshot cause I think it fits sooooooo well haha :D)

Sounds like it's going to be hard work and rewarding. I know a few people who have (and still do) work in the restaurant business, so I can only admire the work that must have gone into getting you to where you are now.
flabbergasted
This word should be used more often... Just like thrice.
