After some of you convinced me to buy Prototype a few days ago, I went ahead and got a copy.
Having a blast just walking around in Free Roam being a bastard.

However, I had a question regarding targeting, and figured I might make a new topic instead of asking it in the one where I asked for opinions about it. I wasn't sure if it would be seen as necro-ing or going off topic.

Either way:
Is there any way I can target civilians or cars when there are hostile units nearby?
As far as I know, I can't target neutral people when a hostile is nearby, am I right, or do I miss something here?

I don't think there is any way. The targeting system of Prototype sucks pretty bad.. :-/

You can't target non-hostiles while there are hostiles around. It's a pity, since it'd be fun to punt a car into enemies, but no.

They made it that way so you wouldn't target civilians when getting beaten up by baddies. Sucks for free-roaming sandbox killings, but keeps you from dying.

Thanks a lot for the answers.

Also, I just ran past a bus-stop in Prototype, with a dutch version of a Iron Man 2 poster.
Does it update and localize adds?

Fancy that.

Actually I have heard of that before; predominately in Time Square
