I sometimes wonder this. I occasionally come back to Prototype for no reason other than i love being a killing machine sometimes.

but how would it be if it was built in the Euphoria engine? i think it could make the action better.

It'd make it much harder to play. Games that use the Euphoria engine aren't really great for precise control, especially for things like small adjustments or changing direction quickly, which you do a bunch of in Prototype.

The Euphoria engine makes me giggle like a schoolgirl every time a Liberty City resident is dragged along while desperately clinging to their recently jacked car, every time a Stormtrooper danlges helplessly in the air grabbing at his earthbourne friends, and every time a bandit is dragged along by one foot in the stirrup.

Building Protoype in Euphoria would make me... euphoric :)

I first thought Euphoria engine was the thing that made shit dynamically destructible in TFU. I was all in favour of Prototype having that kind of unique destructo-scenery.

But when I looked it up and Euphoria is the engine GTA4 and RDR run on...I'm not so much fond of it. It seemed kinda un-precise at the best of times. When your ripping down a clusterfuck highway of mutants and soldiers at 100mph grabbing and flinging cars around, that engine is just bound to cause problems.

It leads to a trade off. You would get more immersive interactable environments, in exchange for more sluggish unresponsive controls.

Honestly I like it better as it is, because well, its a short game all about speed and badassery. Sure with Euphoria you could easily make it more in depth, but honestly toward the end, I was happy it was almost over due.

...Euphoris for Prototype would be interesting. But not needed at all. Dynamic animations aren't really what that game needs...you can't do -that- much after all XD

Do I lose points for not having any idea about what an Euphoria engine is?

Prototype needs more speed. I'm all for that Euphoria if it can give me more speed.
