PS Plus question

So I recently found out that if I download a game for free as part of PS+ when my subscription ends the games will go away with it.

Does that mean that they will be removed from my download list and/or that they will be deleted from my hard drive and/or rendered unplayable?

EDIT- My question has nothing to do with the welcome back package

From what I understand it's only the games that are restricted to the PSplus service, the downloads for the "Welcome Back" thing should work just fine regardless of PSplus status.

Any games that are free because of the PSN Plus subscription wouldn't be able to be used. You will get a message saying, "This content can be used if you renew the license in PlayStation Store." if you try to run the games when you are no longer an active PSN plus user.

From there you have the option to go buy the game or renew.
