I was just about to announce that I noticed it was up, however I'd warn anyone against putting any codes or anything in yet... it seems VERY unstable. I was browsing around and was getting tons and tons of errors.

Given the lack of an official annoucement, and that none of the "free games" we were promised have shown up or anything, I'd relax a bit before doing anything.

Maybe it was more stable for some other people, but right now I suggest patience and waiting for more of a big official "we're back" annoucement.

What's with the quote marks? You doubt they're free? But seriously I doubt they'll put the free games up straightaway, they'll want to make sure it's stable first. And maybe it's cause I'm in EU but it's down here so it's certainly not stable at the moment.

I know. I am downloading the Red Faction: Armageddon and Infamous 2 demos as I type this. Unfortunately, all the free stuff is not live yet (meaning no Dead Nation or Wipeout HD yet ), but at least I can play demos!

While I disagree with their comments about it being unreasonable for users to expect security, "Extra Credits" summarized my opinion on the compensation quite nicely, which I won't go into a rant about here, as I've already made numerous comments on the issue. The quote marks are there for a reason, but let's just say it's not that I doubt they are free and leave it at that. The point was that they aren't there in case anyone decided to they wanted to risk the instability of the store to start downloading them before bed or
whatever.

I reckon you're right, since every time I try to log into it my connection to the server times out.

I think they want to open the store first before they direct us to the free swag.
