PS1 games on PSP

I own a PSP go and really want to get some PS1 games on it to play.

However, I'm not quite sure how well they would play, considering there are only two shoulder buttons and such. Have any of you played PS1 games on the PSP? If so, how well does it work?

Generally pretty much the same as the PSX incarnation. Some cases better I think because the rotate view on some can be scribed to the nub i think.
