I know we're going to get Final Fantasy X, and I'm glad that we're getting Final Fantasy X in 1080p. As someone who has played it that was thanks to PCSX2, there's no going back. If you force 1080p on the original PlayStation 2 copy, in game sprites do age a bit, also, actual videos do look a bit pixelated. But the non-video cutscenes aged superbly. And just as graphically relevant as ever. Auron, for instance, looks just as detailed as most PlayStation 3 characters or modern games in general. I hope that the plan for the 1080p version is to use the CG cutscene sprites for the in game sprites. That would look really gorgeous.
And you can yell at me all you like, I'd also like to see X-2.
Mushihimesama is also an absolutely excellent recommendation. Especially since it never really made it to the states aside from very technically with the XBOX 360 version. I love the heck out of that game.
Also, Tales of the Abyss, certainly. I'm a huge Tales of fangirl. Heck, I'll buy it again if they put it on the network. Heck, Symphonia was technically released for the PlayStation 2, just not in the West. But sigh, Namco would never do something like that.
Also, the Fatal Frame works. At least the first three that are for the PlayStation 2.
Klonoa 2 is also a must. Gorgeous, wonderful game that the gaming industry needs more of.
