PS2 games needed

In sort of the same vein as my last thread, I'm looking for older games. However, this time i need a list of major PS2 releases.

Reason I ask is because at the height of its popularity, I didn't have a PS2, so I ignored most things. Since I have gotten a few major releases, and filled in most of the holes I've missed. However not all of them.

Games i'd consider major that I own:
GTA 3, VC, and SA
MGS2 and 3
Xenosaga ep.1
Gran Turismo 3 and 4
Katamari Damacy
God of War 1 and 2


I -know- I'm missing plenty, Help a guy out?

And I would recommend most of the games posted earlier, especially Dragon Quest 8, I love that game.

I maintain that if you have a PS2 and don't have Star Wars Battlefront II on it, you're doing it wrong. Get it, now, it's incredibly fun, and it's also Star Wars. Just don't go in with high expectations regarding the AI...

Also, the LEGO Star Wars games. Quirky, humorous fun, and it's all rather novel.

Why do you want just major ones? :/ There are tons of great "hidden gem" kind of games too.

Filling in gaps first, I don't really care to mortar the bricks with games no one will ever talk to me about I'll do that after I have the major ones out of the way. ...Plus saying major didn't really stop anyone..

Manhunt, just for the experience of playing possibly one of, if not the goriest game ever. It's not just about the gore though, it is genuinely scary if played in the right environment.

I've cut a LOT of stuff out, but I'd say all these games are worth a play, if you're into the genera or haven't played them on other systems, at least.

What a fantastic console. It's my personal favorite and I'm going to mention a bunch of games that are obvious that I'm sure have already been mentioned on this list already.

Metal Gear Solid 3 (definately go with subsistence if you have the option)
Gran Turismo 4
Resident Evil 4

Those are just my very favorite on the console, save for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus since you stated you already have them. Hope this helps
