I don't own a PS3 yet so it's PS2 ftw for me.
Currently playing;
Shadow of the Colossus (just got it recently, it's so so so epic.)
Abe's Exodus (yep that's PS1)
Canis Canem Edit (bully)
Summoner
Soulcalibur 3
LOTR: Two Towers

Hoping to buy soon: Psychonauts, Omniusha Series, Sly Series, Ico, Unlimited Saga, Okami, Monster Hunter, Star Ocean, Way of the Samurai 2 and the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy.

I used to own quite a few of those, but sold them when cash was low, what a mistake :(

hey, when it comes to new releases, the PS2 may not be quite as strong, but it's still going. Recent releases: Basically anything that's out for the Wii that Nintendo doesn't have rights to and that isn't retarded, Guitar Hero, Buzz, Singstar, and even some games that are on the PS3 and 360

I didn't think people liked TS3(FP) as much as TS2. A lot of what I've heard was that people didn't like the plot, even though TS2 almost completely lacked one, and I thought that the writing was clever and that the plot was very well constructed

If my PS3 had backwards compatibility I would be playing:

-Resident Evil 4
-Silent Hill box set
-Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3
-Freedom Fighters
-Final Fantasy 10
-God of War
-Devil May Cry 3

I could go on.

I'm surprised nobody has said this yet, considering how many Silent Hill fans are out there-- I guess you either loved this game, or hated it: Fatal Frame.
The series still scares the crap out of me, years later. The horror genre was the PS2's friend.
Ahh yes, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly. I had it for a little while, i didn't hate it. The beginning and all the cinematics that include the cackling laugh of that bloodied robe japanese lady haunts me to this day. But I returned it because EB Games said it was worth 30 bucks to them, and I only paid like 14.99 for it!How can you say no?

But the reason why I returned it was because there was a puzzle in it that i just couldn't figure out for the life of me. i put it down for like a few days and during those i found Silent Hill 2 and 3..and that occupied a lot of my time and i just never remembered Fatal Frame.

But recently I have thought about it, and I'm buying back over ebay :p

The PS2 really is the duracell-bunny of the console world (I wonder if they have that advert outside of the UK? If not... trust me, that was witty), largely through sheer volume of games.

I'm currently playing through Kingdom Hearts 2 and Final Fantasy X with my Girlfriend, but I still occasionally use it to play Timesplitters and various JRPGs.

I own all three current generation consoles, and all three 6th generation consoles, but the PS2 still sees plenty of action
Currently I'm playing:
Twisted Metal: Black
Rez
Katamari Damacy
Kingdom Hearts
Xenosaga

Mortal Kombat: Deception Wasn't A Big Fan of Armageddon's Fatality System
God of War
Hitman Blood Money (wasn't excellent but I still enjoy it occasionally)
GTA San Andreas And Vice City, I Like Having My Aeroplanes which the 4th one lacked
Metal Gear Solid 3 (2 wasn't as good with Raiden :'( )

- Pro Evolution Soccer 6 & 2008. Also a quick timekiller when you have mates around. And some tournaments off course.
- Bully. I like the Rockstar games, but Bully is the best. It oozes charm, has a brilliant setting and it's funny to beat girls, nerds, girlie nerds, jocks, snobs, teachers, etc. etc.
- Steambot Chronicles, because it's the best PS2 game.

Any many others one and off, but these 4 are regulars.

Right now I'm playing through Spiderman 2 again.

Ahh, the joy of a quality game based on a film.

Def Jam: Fight For NY is probably most revisitable title on the PS2.

I'd also toss in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
