My hero! This exactly. Also, if you like Baldur's Gate, you might want to try Demon Stone. The mechanics aren't as good but the story and voice acting are top-notch.

Also, Final Fantasy X was pretty great if you can ignore the main character lol

however i hated "god hand", i was shallow, too linear and not funny at all. basicly to just punch your way too the end. stick with DMC or GoW.
